Grants

Registered beneficiaries can apply for:

Kaumātua Wellbeing Grant – for our kaumātua.
Summer Sports Grant and Winter Sports Grant – for uri representing their club, region or country.
Long Course Education Grant – undergraduate and postgraduate study, masters and doctorates.
Short Course Education Grant – secondary school, short courses, certificates, and diploma and trade schools.

Registration also connects you to marae and iwi entity funding and to fish distributions.

Each grant has its own criteria, opening and closing dates. Once you are registered you apply here, upload what is needed, and follow your application through to payment without ringing to ask where it has got to.

This register holds the whakapapa and the details of our uri, and connects each of them to their marae.

Wherever you live, you can register, keep your details current and apply for grants from your phone. You do not need to come in to the office and you do not need to post anything.

NEW REGISTRATIONS
To register you need to whakapapa to the iwi and name the one marae you affiliate to. Complete the first step, check your email for the link, then log back in and finish. Your registration goes to a trustee of your marae to confirm your whakapapa, and you will be emailed when it is approved.
